Câlin (vom franz. „kuscheln“) ist ein funktionaler Wandteppich, inspiriert von Matisse „Der Tanz“. Der Name nimmt Bezug auf die Herkunft des Künstlers und die Funktion des Teppichs. Wandteppiche in ihrer ursprünglichen Funktion sollen Wände Isolieren und dem Wärmeerhalt nutzen. Dieser Wandteppich beachtet zusätzlich den zwischenmenschlichen Aspekt und soll zum sozialen Miteinander einladen. Câlin soll dadurch auch „soziale“ Wärme erzeugen. Der Teppich lässt sich auseinandernehmen, wird zu Kissen und Decke und lässt sich ganz vielseitig nutzen. An der Wand hat er dann wieder eine dekorative Funktion und stellt eine Abstraktion des Gemäldes dar.

Calin (from the French "cuddle") is a functional tapestry inspired by Matisse "The Dance". The name refers to the origin of the artist and the function of itselfs. Tapestries in their original function are meant to insulate walls and help retain heat. This tapestry pays additional attention to the interpersonal aspect and is intended to invite social interaction. Calin should thereby also create "social" warmth. The Carpet can be taken apart to become pillows and blanket and can be used quite versatile. On the wall, it then again has a decorative function and represents an abstraction of the painting.
