Liesel ist eine vier Meter lange, komplett aus orangefarbenem Kabel gestrickte Lampe, die den Konflikt zwischen stereotypischen Materialien und Techniken aufgreift. Das Objekt mäandert durch den Raum und endet in der Lichtquelle, die die Vervollständigung einer langen Reise darstellt. Besonders auffallend sind die organische und fließende Form mit ihrer bemerkenswerten Größe und Struktur und die Leerräume, die im Inneren des Lampenkörpers entstehen. Sowohl das Material, als auch die Technik sind vielseitiger, als man ihnen zugesteht.

Liesel is a four-meter long lamp, knitted completely out of orange cable, that captures the conflict between stereotypical materials and techniques. The object meanders through the room ending in the light source, the completion of a long journey. Particularly striking is the organic and fluid form with its notable size and structure and the empty spaces created within the body of the lamp. Both material and technique are more versatile than they are given credit for.
